In (almost) the words of the Gilmore Girls, "we are an Autumn" here at Crumb Pact. The season just fits us, the cosy jumpers, the golden light, the smell of something sweet and spiced baking in the oven. October feels like nature’s grand finale, with the trees turning every shade of gold and copper and the air taking on that gentle crispness that makes your cheeks pink.
Our Pumpkin Spiced Brownies were made for this time of year. Rich, fragrant, and just the right amount of indulgent, they’ve been a firm favourite through the season, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the turn of the clocks and the start of longer, slower evenings.

It’s also been a month of firsts here at Crumb Pact. We hosted our very first afternoon tea at Appley Tower, complete with delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a view that never gets old. There’s something special about seeing people come together over a table of homemade bakes, it’s exactly what Crumb Pact was created for.
Behind the scenes, October brought an incredible photoshoot day with Reuben and Francis, who captured the spirit of Crumb Pact so beautifully. It was one of those long, slightly chaotic, deeply satisfying days that remind you how much magic can happen when creative minds come together. We were also joined by Lottie from Lottie Rose Studio, whose stunning hand-thrown pottery added so much warmth and authenticity to the shoot. There’s more to come there too as we’re already dreaming up some custom pieces for the new year.
And a huge shout-out to Shannon, our wonderful website designer, who instantly understood what we wanted to create and has been quietly weaving her design magic behind the scenes. Seeing it all come to life has been such an exciting part of this journey.
As the last apples fall from the trees and the nights draw in, we’re feeling grateful, tired in the best way, and ready for what’s next. So here’s to October, the month that wraps you up in colour, spice, and small beginnings that turn into something beautiful.
