The clocks have gone back, the air has that soft chill that smells faintly of woodsmoke, and suddenly the evenings seem to slip in before we’ve even got home for the day. November always feels like the world’s gentle nudge to slow down, to light the candles, pull the blanket closer, and find comfort in the small, delicious things.
Here at Crumb Pact, we’re leaning into that rhythm. Our autumn limited editions, those golden, spiced beauties with their soft crumble and warm flavours, are taking their final bow as we prepare to welcome a new winter collection (and yes, it’s every bit as indulgent and comforting as you’d hope).
This month also marks a little milestone for us: our website has officially launched! It’s been a labour of love, built to bring the Crumb Pact experience to your fingertips, from treat boxes to afternoon teas and a peek behind the scenes at what we’re baking next.
We’re also gearing up for our biggest afternoon tea yet at the beautiful Appley Tower, where ten lucky guests will be tucking into tiers of island-inspired bakes, china teacups, and all the cosy trimmings that make an autumn afternoon feel like a proper occasion.
And, of course, Christmas is quietly tiptoeing closer. Recipe testing is underway, ingredients are being ordered, and our kitchen smells like cinnamon and good intentions. Expect a few sneak peeks very soon…
